Bethany Atkinson, a Mississippi native, serves as the Brand & Product Designer, overseeing visual aspects of editorial projects and overall brand cohesion for the Deep South Today network of newsrooms.
She previously served as Community Manager at Mississippi Today. She has her bachelor’s in integrated marketing communications with a minor in business administration from the University of Mississippi. She has previously worked with other nonprofits and as a freelance graphic designer.
